OVERVIEW: The 20th International Conference on Information Systems Development (ISD2011) will be hosted by Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. The venue will be the new Postgraduate Centre on the Riccarton Campus. The theme of ISD2011 is "Reflections, Challenges and New Directions". There will be a number of new and well established tracks in the systems development field. These will include (but not limited to): Business Systems Analysis & Design
• Data and Activity Modelling • Software Processes, Methods and Models • Sociotechnical Issues in Organisations • Web and Mobile ISD • Issues in ISD Education & Training • E-learning within ISD
• IS/IT Project Management • ISD Business Model for Digital Goods
• Agile and Lean Methods • Knowledge Management in ISD • Database Design and Technologies • Human-Computer Interaction in ISD • New and Emerging Issues in ISD
Suggestions for alternative Tracks / Themes will also be considered, and suggestions should be forwarded to ISD2011@hw.ac.uk . The language of the conference will be English and we invite full research papers (4000-7000 words) as well as industry project reports (2500-4000 words), work-in-progress papers, and position papers.All submissions will be blind-reviewed by an international programme committee. Springer Science and Business Media are contracted to publish the proceedings.
