BIOINFORMATICS 2011, Deadline: July 6 류근호

BIOINFORMATICS 2011 (International Conference on Bioinformatics Models, Methods and Algorithms) has an open call for papers, whose deadline is on July 06, 2010. We hope you can participate in this prestigious conference by submitting a paper reflecting your current research.

Sponsored by the Institute for Systems and Technologies of Information, Control and Communication (INSTICC), in cooperation with Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) and technically co-sponsored by IEEE EMBS, IEEE EMBS Portugal and ESEM, BIOINFORMATICS 2011 will be held in Rome, Italy, next January 26 - 29 (http://www.bioinformatics.biostec.org). JOUA

The purpose of the International Conference on Bioinformatics Models, Methods and Algorithms is to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in the application of computational systems and information technologies to the field of molecular biology, including for example the use of statistics and algorithms to understanding biological processes and systems, with a focus on new developments in genome bioinformatics and computational biology. Areas of interest for this community include sequence analysis, biostatistics, image analysis, scientific data management and data mining, machine learning, pattern recognition, computational evolutionary biology, computational genomics and other related fields.

Please check further details at the BIOINFORMATICS 2011 conference website (http://www.bioinformatics.biostec.org). There you will find detailed information about the conference structure and its main topic areas.

This conference is part of the International Joint Conference on Biomedical Engineering Systems and Technologies (BIOSTEC http://www.biostec.org) and it is co-located with three related conferences, namely:

- Biomedical Electronics and Devices (http://www.biodevices.biostec.org)

- Bio-inspired Systems and Signal Processing (http://www.biosignals.biostec.org)

- Health Informatics (http://www.healthinf.biostec.org)

Registration to one conference allows free access to all conferences.

The conference program features a number of Keynote Lectures to be delivered by distinguished world-class researchers, including those listed below.

Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and on CD-ROM support.

A short list of presented papers will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in a CCIS Series book.

The proceedings will be indexed by several major international indexers, including INSPEC, DBLP and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index, and we are awaiting confirmation of indexation by EI.

Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference closing session.

All published papers will be available at the SciTePress Digital Library.

Workshops and special sessions are also invited. If you wish to propose a workshop or a special session, for example based on the results of a specific research project, please contact the secretariat. Workshop chairs and Special Session chairs will benefit from logistics support and other types of support, including secretariat and financial support, to facilitate the development of a valid idea.

Should you have any question please don't hesitate contacting me.

Kind regards,

Vera Coelho
